i just sent an invitation request for pownce. it looks like a really useful tool for our design office where we are often asking for things and sharing files via email or chat. hopefully they will smile upon me and grant my wish for an invitation.

clean closets feel good...

four hefty bags later and i can see the true state of my wardrobe. too much black, who knew? new outfit looks goofy with the shirt i planned to wear with it, who knew? lovely ann taylor suit looks like that "where'd you park your delorean" ad, who knew? me...i know. now.

ahhh, my clothes can breathe and so can i. maybe i'll be able to get ready tomorrow morning without stress. ahhhh...

james bond cufflinks...

i love cufflinks. i read a feature article once on a man who collected cufflinks and thought it was a brilliant thing to collect. they are alternately elegant, witty, and beautiful. i bought these simon carter aspirin cufflinks for jeff while at the HOW conference in las vegas two years ago. what could be more perfect for a dean of arts & humanities? i didn't even realize that you could actually hide aspirins within them. double score! my love of tiny hidden compartments is satisfied too. now off to find my poison rings...
